Field materials were collected in 2012-2014 in compliance with bioethics standards. We compared the eggs of the collared flycatcher (a distant migrant) and the great tit and the blue tit (a sedentary birds). Eggs were collected in three territories within Kharkiv and Sumy regions. 52 eggs of the collared flycatcher, 46 eggs of the great tit and 24 eggs of the blue tit were collected in total. The clutches left by the birds, as well as the eggs left in the nests after hatching, were used for analysis. The ash content in the eggs of birds was studied on the basis of the scientific laboratory of the Institute of Animal Husbandry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It was found that the mass fraction of ash in the content of eggs of three species of birds was greater than in the eggshell. The mass fraction of ash was the highest in the content of eggs of the collared flycatcher in the conditions of the tract Vakalivshchyna (18,5%). However, more minerals were accumulated in the Forest Park. The mass fraction of ash was the highest in the shell of eggs of the collared flycatcher in the conditions of the tract Vakalivshchyna (14,6%). The largest amount of minerals in the eggshell of the collared flycatcher was found in the tract Vakalivshchyna. The mass fraction of ash in the egg content and in the shell (94.5% and 38.4% respectively) of the tits was the highest in the Forest Park. The largest accumulation of mineral substances was found in the Forest Park. The ash content in the eggs of the collared flycatcher was the highest in the conditions of the tract Vakalivshchyna (20.1% in the content of eggs and 17.1% in the shell). Ash content was highest in tits in the Forest Park. Our research mostly confirms the pattern: the greater the mass fraction of ash and ash content in the object under study, the greater the amount of mineral substances accumulated in it. ER -
